This necklace set (leather cord or chain) features your choice of interchangeable mini book beads. Change your look as often as you want - it’s sure to be an eye catcher! NOTE: While the book beads have been photographed side-by-side to showcase the entire collection, it is best worn individually & interchangeably.

The cord is made of 100% brown cowhide leather (thickness at 4 mm diameter - one of the thickest in the market today; beware of substandard copies). Each necklace measures 41 cm long and is equipped with a 4.5 cm chain capable of extending its length to 45 cm. A lobster claw clasp provides secure cord fastening at the neck.

Prefer a metal chain? A 20" 925 Sterling Silver (1 mm thick) snake chain can be requested at check out for a small surcharge. Bail #1, #4 or #9 is recommended for this chain. The large link chains (22" long) come in oblong (pliable) elliptical or round (sturdier) shapes. A military grade, stainless steel ball chain (24") is also available. Each book is firmly attached to your choice of a necklace with a pewter bail, lobster clasp or jump ring, ensuring it stays in place (choice will depend on necklace type).

Because each book pendant is hand made, minor imperfections are part of its charm, and no two will be exactly alike. You will receive something very similar to the item pictured, but not exactly the item pictured. Please make allowances for artistic freedom and understand that slight variability in the pendants is to be expected. You may want to read the section on caring for polymer clay beads under GENERAL CARE.

AVOID DELAYS! Be sure to include the following when you check out:

I. NECKLACE INSTRUCTIONS

o State your preference: leather cord, 925 Sterling Silver chain, OR other (specify)?

o Choose your bail (for leather cord & 925 SS chains only). Bails #1, #4 or #9 will not fit the thick leather cord due to their small openings. They are best suited for the Sterling silver snake chain or Ball chain.

II. INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOOK BEADS Select your books...

1) ...by Custom Request

o There is a 6-book minimum order for custom (i.e. not in my gallery) requests.

o Please provide images (jpg format). A link to the image(s) will be fine.

o Specify which image goes in the Front (F) or Back (B) of each book bead. Write “same” if you want the same cover in both front & back.

o Indicate any custom name or message on the spine of each bead.

o Allow 3 weeks to create the book beads + 1-2 days assembly time for the necklace before the item is shipped to you.

2) ... from existing inventory listed under View Detailed Images. You can choose from currently available collections or cherry-pick any number of pieces from various collections pictured in the gallery. Some collections are SAMPLES only (check availability).Allow a 1-2 days for your necklace to be assembled.
