This chain mail bracelet woven in a Celtic pattern is loaded with pewter charms that re-tell Jamie and Claire Fraser’s story from the popular Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

Great stories are always worth re-telling and I do so thru my bracelets. Boy, what a story Outlander is! Wanting to create something that was both collectible and unique, I came up with the idea to blend the artistry of chain mail with charms! It took a few months to look for the perfect dangles, but I finally had enough for the collection. The result is the Outlander Celtic Link Charm Bracelet.

STEP 1: WEAVE THE CHAIN MAIL Constructed of bright aluminum jump rings meticulously woven into Celtic links (I have the calluses to prove it), it is finished off with a matching Celtic-themed toggle closure. The Outlander Celtic Link Bracelet pictured here, measures about 8 inches (203 mm) long, clasp to clasp and may be re-sized to fit your wrist. Unsure how to measure? STEP 2: ADD CHARMS Strategically placed on either side of the chain are a number of carefully selected pewter charms, depicting recurrent themes in Gabaldon’s Outlander series. This is the fun part, as you get to pick and choose from the extensive Outlander Charm Collection, currently at 85 charms. The charms can be seen here and at the link found at the bottom of this listing. The 8" bracelet as shown has 26 pewter charms on it.

WANT MORE CHARMS? Can't decide which charms to leave out because you want them all? The 8" bracelet has room to take a maximum of 12 additional charms. (Refer to the table above for your custom wrist size.) It makes for a doubly stunning & chunky bracelet! WANT ALL THE CHARMS? Can't decide which charms to leave out because you want them all? Select this option at checkout. Then choose to attach the charms via lobster clasps. These allow you to attach/remove charms at will, allowing you to collect all of them!

SCOTTISH PEARLS INCLUDED: Interspersed between the charms are grade AA quality, round (6-7 mm) freshwater pearls framed with pierced-work, rhinestone spacers representing Jamie’s wedding gift to Claire: “They’re only Scotch pearls” he said, “but they look bonny on you.”

STEP 3: ADD ON (THE OPTIONAL) BOOK BEADS. The Outlander clay mini book charms can be added on to your bracelet. Attached with a lobster claw clasp, it allows the wearer to change the order and remove/add book beads to their liking. For example, the 8" bracelet will take a maximum of 12 additional charms, which can be split between pewter charms, book beads or both. It makes for a doubly stunning & chunky bracelet! This option is available when you check out.
