Resembling a shepherd's hook, these Hookmarks are so named because they hook over the spine of your book. This unique design resists falling out, won't damage the pages of your book (no more dog ears!) and fits over the spine of any size book. The Quill & Feather bookmark is made of lead-free Tibetan silver and measures approximately 118 x 26 mm (4 5/8 x 1”). The Wavy bookmark is made of lead-free Tibetan silver and measures approximately (6 x 1.125" or 155 x 30mm). Dangling from each is The Wind in the Willows clay mini book in your choice of two sizes: bead or pendant.

DURABLE

Constructed of polymer clay, each double-sided book bead measures about the size of a US quarter. Each double-sided book pendant is slightly larger than a US quarter dollar. The spine has room for your name or a short message. Page ridge detail is etched on three sides of the mini-book. Carefully burnished is a TLC exclusive - based on the first edition of The Wind in the Willows. The mini book charms are then sealed, before repeatedly being glazed (minimum 3 coats) to a glossy finish, making them not only durable, but also water-resistant. It takes about 3 weeks, from start to finish, to complete a custom book.

HANDMADE IN THE USA

Because each book pendant is hand made, minor imperfections are part of its charm, and no two will be exactly alike. You will receive something very similar to the item pictured, but not exactly the item pictured. Please make allowances for artistic freedom and understand that slight variability in the pendants is to be expected. The Wind in the Willow's characters & book are available in the public domain. These book beads are inspired by them. All original Book Beads are done by TheLitCharm entirely from polymer clay. Their cut, clarity of image, size and durability are without rival. Many man-hours are placed on each bead to ensure that you get the highest quality beads. Not intended for use by children 5 and younger.
